The I-35 Way of Holiness Will Now be Built

“And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.” Isaiah 35:8

There is a significant prophetic message that we are to receive from the sudden collapse of the I-35 West Bridge over the Mississippi River. On August 1^st, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, there was an “unexplained shift” that caused the I-35 W Bridge to calamitously drop while sending many cars plunging into the Mississippi River.  However, there was an amazingly minimal loss of life when compared to what could have happened. Interstate 35 runs from Duluth, Minnesota to Laredo, Texas through the heart of our nation from the northern border to our southern border. I believe this represents a significant prophetic call for a release of an Isaiah 35 “Highway of Holiness” to run through this literal interstate highway. In fact, most of the major cities on this stretch of highway received significant flooding this summer as well.  I believe this reveals the Lord’s heart to release cleansing rivers through these cities as He sets up a “Highway of Holiness” through the heart of our nation. This is the Lord’s response to the prayers and intercession of His people and His intervention to counter the national effects of the counter cultural “Summer of Love” that was released upon our nation in the summer of 1967.

THE DEFECTIVE BRIDGE WAS FROM 1967

The failing of this 40 year-old bridge that was built in 1967 tells us that, in order for this Way of Holiness to be released upon us as a nation, there will have to be a conclusive recognition that the “building materials and design” from 1967 have profoundly failed. On the news, I heard an expert on bridge engineering declare that, anytime you see this type of bridge collapse, it reveals a failure in construction or design that occurred 40 years ago. The problem shows up now, but the failure was actually from its inception.

1967 was also the time of the release of the “Jesus movement” and it was an apparent time of a positive release in the Body of Christ that coincided with the “free love” movement. Many churches and even several new denominations were formed at that time. It was a fresh spiritual wind that blew through the nation and brought many new converts. However, this is a good time to look back and judge whether there may have been some faulty pillars and columns in the foundations of some of these churches and movements.

                               THE I-35 BRIDGE REPRESENTS A SPAN OF THE CHURCH

            Much has been said of the societal problems brought on by the sexual revolution of 1967 and that is quite clear and evident. It could easily be said that the 1967 “free love with no boundaries” movement paved the way for the Roe vs. Wade ruling in1973. San Francisco, the city where the “Summer of Love” started, has become the homosexual capital of our nation—maybe of the world. The west coast in general has been responsible for releasing several perverted “waves” into our society. Kurt Cobain, the famed grunge rocker from Seattle, was also born in 1967. He is primarily responsible for releasing the whole grunge culture into and upon our nation (and other nations) and suffered a premature death because of drugs. He carried a 1967 “dark anointing” to sow anguish and death into the “infrastructure” of a whole generation of teens.  Our culture is still reaping the effects of this negative influence within its infrastructure similar to the ramifications of the I-35 W bridge collapse.

Having said all that, I think that it is important to prophetically observe that the I-35 Bridge is a bridge on the “highway of holiness.” The very highway that carries great promise has a major connecting bridge that is defective even from its original construction. There is an important “connecting” segment of the Church of America that is defective because of a faulty wave of permissiveness and the influence of Jezebel that has been around since 1967.

 A BRIDGE WITH NO RIVERBED PIERS

The I-35 W Bridge was a unique model in that it had no under girding support structure. There were no piers that were grounded in the waterbed. Instead, there was an elevated metal arch beam of about 500 feet long that was designed to hold everything up. This bridge model is apparently cheaper to build, though I have not heard conclusive evidence that this was the reason for this bridge being built in that manner.

There is a significant “bridge” segment of the Church that is no longer grounded in values ordained by God. This important “bridge” is made up of a brand of ministers and leaders that will only emphasize how “high” you can go. According to them, it’s all about the benefits of a spiritual “free love” with no foundational responsibilities. These ministers model and speak all about how much health, wealth, destiny, and “favor” God has for you.  And, it requires little more than paying these ministers exorbitant offerings for one to get in on this high arching life “in God.” These leaders believe in a “promised land” with no responsibility or accountability other than idolizing and funding the new “Stars” in the Church.

This “structural defect” is also rampant in our “cutting edge” Charismatic, Spirit-filled, and even Prophetic/Apostolic camps. 1 Corinthians 13 love, Galatians 5 “fruit of the Spirit,” character, patience, faithfulness, overcoming, taking up our cross, etc. are no longer “piers” of interest in our churches. The mentality right now for many is that we are all just going to hang on to a dream—even a spiritual fantasyland—and that is what we believe will take us over into our “Promised Land.” Christian TV is full of those who have “made it” across this bridge and, if we will just pay them a bridge “toll,” we too can skip the process of “Christ being formed in us” and just all be superstars. It is spiritual “free love” with all the pleasure and benefits of intimacy with no accompanying covenants and requirements. This translates into a church culture where the reality is divorce, broken homes, family violence, drug use, lying, cheating, stealing, and abortion.  The Church has become worse than the world in most of these categories. We have a defective “bridge” on this “highway of holiness” and there is no crossing the big river without it being properly rebuilt.

                                                  THE “ANNA NICHOLE” CHURCH

I would like to not have to be so harsh, but there is an element of “the Church” that does not look like the Bride of Christ but instead patterns itself after the life and mentality of Anna Nichole Smith. Interestingly, Anna was also born in 1967 and suffered a premature death apparently by drugs. She was born with the name Vicki Lynn Hogan but had it changed to Anna Nichole Smith. She spent her adult life with what seems like a “sell to the highest bidder” mentality in that, whatever would give her the most exposure; she considered it good and conducive to her fulfilling her “destiny.” I saw a video clip from a couple years ago of her expressing that she was a “Christian” who prayed every day to God. Consequently, she married a very wealthy man in his 80’s—seemingly for the money—while being one who prays to God every day. She appeared multiple times in Playboy and other pornographic videos and magazines—all the while being a “Christian” and “one who prays every day.” I do hope she did have a real encounter with the Lord before her death.  The point here is not to judge her, but to say that she is actually a pretty good picture of what some of the “Church” has looked like.

The name “Anna” means Grace. Her name had been Vicki which is derived from Victoria. She preferred a new and improved “Grace” without boundaries over her given identity of a “victorious one.” This unfortunately is what a lot of the Church has been walking in. Being a victorious over comer is not attractive to many of us and we have given lip service to Christ while modeling all the values of darkness. This new “Grace” that many have embraced is supposedly the antidote to the legalism that infected the churches prior to 1967. However, the corrective measure has gone way too far in the pendulum swing and extreme sin consciousness has now been replaced with almost no sin consciousness.  This is particularly noteworthy to me in the movers and shakers of the “Spirit-filled camp.” That bridge won’t work anymore. It has suddenly collapsed. Earl Paulk, Paul Cain, and Ted Haggard are just the “tips of the iceberg” of what is about to fully be disclosed in the Church. Some of the most prestigious ministries are about to have their lack of moral underpinnings exposed. There is going to be a rapid fire sequence of events where, all of a sudden, we will look and survey that there are entire lengths of connected bridge grids that have buckled and left a disaster of cars tossed into the waters.

                                                MORE CARS WILL BE LOST THAN PEOPLE

Apparently in the I-35 bridge disaster, substantially more cars were destroyed than people killed. Prophetically, vehicles represent ministries. In the cleansing that is now upon us in 2007, there will be many ministries that will not make it. They are even now being “driven into the water.” In God’s great grace, this does not have to be the death sentence for the people in the ministries because they will be given a chance to “escape” from their vehicles.  In the future, these people will be able to acquire “new vehicles” that will only go over new reinforced bridges—bridges built in 2007 and later.

THE SHIFT REVEALS THAT WHICH IS DEFECTIVE

The present reports from the I-35 Bridge collapse are that there was an “unexplained shift” at one end that caused this sudden disaster. Reports continue to come out that there were prior significant warnings given that declared that this bridge was not safe. Yet, instead of replacing the defective bridge, workers were actually on site doing virtual “cosmetic” repairs when the collapse took place. The “1967” bridge doesn’t need cosmetic repair, it needs replacement. It has been defective from its inception.

            This summer of 2007 also marks the 40^th anniversary of the taking of Jerusalem by Israel.  That anniversary announces to us of a sudden shift in the spirit that has already taken place. That “shift” is, in the spirit realm, a major earthquake that will continue to release “tsunami” effects on “coastlands” around the world. Not every place experiences a tsunami’s effect at the same time, but it shows up at different times. The shift that has already taken place will continue to bring major sudden changes across the landscape of the world, but especially of the Church.  The Church is where His judgment must begin.

                                I- 35 IS NOW A "LINE IN THE SAND" DRAWN BY GOD

The good news about all of this is that the Lord is responding to our prayers for change, revival, and transformation. He has drawn a “line in the sand” through the heart of the nation and He’s telling Satan “I’m taking BOTH sides.” You could do an internet search on almost any major city along Interstate 35 and it will include the fact that, during this “Summer of Love,” they have experienced a “Summer of Flood.” Isaiah 35:7 speaks of “the thirsty land” becoming “springs of water.” The washing of I-35 prophetically represents a season of cleansing that is upon us where “the fear of the Lord” and “holiness” will reenter into the vocabulary of His church.

           I-35 also runs from Lake Superior into the Rio Grande (Big River). In this, we can see prophetically that there is a Superior Lake and a Big River to which the Lord desires to connect us. There is a superior water source of more miracles, healings, deliverances, and salvations, BUT we must first get the defective bridge repaired. Since it’s a bridge adjoining the Twin Cities (two), prophetically it represents the “double portion” prophesied by and for everyone.  However, this concept of a double portion is just “pie in the sky” without getting an infrastructural upgrade in our foundations.

          The cities of Minneapolis, Des Moines, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Dallas area, Austin, and San Antonio will all carry significant “altars of Elijah.”  Also, natural eagles will begin to greatly increase along the whole length of I-35. Prophetic ministries in these cities that are near I-35 will begin to see literal eagles come to their properties as a prophetic sign of the increase and release of the “spirit of Elijah” through them. There will be an important “Issacharian anointing” on prophets from the I-35 “highway of holiness” to help America discern the times and seasons and to assist in discerning what spiritual “winds” carry health and which ones carry “dangers.” California and the west coast will again release key “winds” that will seek to affect the entire nation. Some will be good and some will be bad. The prophets and intercessors along I-35 have a call to both speak into these “winds” and give understanding of them.  They also need to use the I-35 “line in the sand” as a spiritual wall that stops ill “winds” from going any further east. A “spiritual wave” is coming from California and some of it will be an unacceptable mixture that must be stopped. Healing is coming from particularly the northwest and that will be good.  Negative winds of moral mixture and ill winds of disease can be stopped at this I-35 “line in the sand” and sent back west into the sea.

Intercessors and prophets along the “line in the sand” of I-35 will also have an important role in coming to assist in setting Atlanta free from the religious spirit, thus allowing Atlanta to become the spiritual capitol of America that she is called to be. I believe the “Elijah revolution” will be released from Atlanta and it will impact the world. This Elijah revolution will carry a radical, prophetic, and holy anointing and will eventually challenge and defeat Jezebel’s reign at even a national level.

MAKE FIRM THE FEEBLE KNEES

In light of what the Lord has already initiated in our nation, we are to be encouraged by verses 3 and 4 of Isaiah 35:

“Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful hearted, BE STRONG, DO NOT FEAR! Behold your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God He will come and save you.” Isaiah 35:3-4

This is God’s word to America.

Other 1967 Events: San Francisco and the “Summer of Love”

1967 was a very interesting year and the potential parallels to this year abound. The Vietnam War was raging, inciting many protests and much unrest throughout the nation. In this environment, began the countercultural “hippie” movement which uniquely blended music, drugs, and community with its “peace” focus. Its center was a “druggie” neighborhood of San Francisco where Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, and the Grateful Dead lived, and it eventually spread to touch the entire nation with its “free love” message. The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper” album was a major part of this movement, with songs that glorified drugs as well as the song “All you need is love, love, love,” which the Beatles first sang in June of 1967. A hedonistic release took place in our country and has been running rampant for the last 40 years. Jim Morrison of The Doors was quoted as saying, “we want the world and we want it now.” A “Jezebelic” drug and sex culture was ignited and has ruled in our nation for a generation. The deceiving veneer to this countercultural movement was that it also promoted “peace” and “community” mixed with the “do as you feel” mentality.

It is also significant to note the San Francisco connection to the historic years of 1906 and 1967. In 1906, the Azusa Street Revival was the great spiritual story while the Great San Francisco Earthquake was the great natural story of the year. The Azusa Street meetings began April 14th, and the great earthquake in San Francisco was four days later.
I have already talked about the 1967 connection between the Jerusalem story and the start of the “hippie” movement. Out of this “hippie” movement began the great Jesus People awakening that also touched the nation. This movement spawned new denominations, new church leaders, and new Christian music forms and paradigms that continue to impact this nation until this day. Various forms of “Jesus communities” were spawned all over the nation and most college campuses had some form of these “hippie” Jesus fellowships in their midst. However, this spiritual movement was relatively short-lived because no one knew how to "parent" it. The Jesus communities succumbed to either heavy handed control or “greasy grace” where just about anything was O.K. to do—thus mirroring the regular “hippie” movement.

A central figure of the Jesus People movement was a man named Lonnie Frisbee, a converted homosexual from; where else other than San Francisco. This man was a very key figure in the future Calvary Chapel and Vineyard movements. He was a man who seemed to carry a significant “power” anointing that the church needed. His history is very interesting, but neither Calvary Chapel nor the Vineyard desire to mention him much, if any, because he ended up falling back into the homosexual lifestyle and dying of AIDS. His is quite a sad and tragic story, yet his contribution can not be overlooked. I believe that he operated in a legitimate anointing, but that he possibly brought and released a polluted “stream” that continues to manifest adverse effects today.

I believe this is why this next countercultural revolution must be an Elijah Revolution. A revolution that is “fathered” spiritually and moored in holiness. The Elijah Revolution must eventually produce its own culture and not just incorporate the world’s culture. As much as we want to continue to accept and receive the tattooed, body- pierced, grunge, gothic, emo, and other expressions in the present culture, at some point, the Elijah Revolution must cease from only "reflecting" a polluted culture and must start generating a new culture. Fashion and hairstyles carry an “anointing” of their own and this movement must understand that. The “grunge” fashion and culture carried a depression and suicide “anointing.” The “gothic” fashion carries a death “anointing.” This time, the Jesus movement must carry a pure stream even in its visible “markings.” It does not mean it will be “religious” and “conservative,” but it will carry “edginess” and “fire” along with radical purity.

I do not think that the Elijah Revolution’s “fashion” has shown up yet, but I do think that it will manifest as an important part of the revival and reformation that it will bring. I prophesy that it will infiltrate the world’s culture and will be an evangelistic tool of its own as it wins over the youth generation. “Elijah Revolution fashion” is coming to this world and it’s going to carry a powerful anointing of its own!

Final Words on 1967 and their 2007 Connection

The past gives us clues about the future. Israel won its 1967 war on June 10. A day later, on June 11, a race riot started in Tampa, Florida. Following this were many race riots throughout the US in cities such as Buffalo, New York, and Newark. Detroit experienced the worst of this racial violence. Is there a connection to Satan losing Jerusalem and some sort of backlash in the US? I don’t know. However, I do feel to prophetically warn that, in the summer of this year, the enemy would like to stir up racial violence in our land. There is a Hispanic mix to the racial equation and the enemy has several racial “wounds” he will attempt to capitalize on.

1967 was also a year of major “evildoers” being brought to justice. Jimmy Hoffa began an eight-year sentence in 1967. Che Guevara was finally captured and executed. Jack the Ripper was sentenced to life in prison. American Nazi Party leader George Lincoln Rockwell was killed. I speak a release of that kind of justice for this 2007 year. I believe this will be a year when famous “evildoers” will meet judgment.

1967 saw Benjamin Netanyahu join the Israeli army and may 2007 be the year he enters the fullness of his military destiny on behalf of that nation.

Caracas, Venezuela suffered a major earthquake on July 29, 1967. This year, I see a political earthquake suddenly manifesting that will shake Chavez and pull the rug out from under him. It will be something that comes out of “left field.” Chavez can still go either way.

Following the 40 Year Cycle Back to 1607

We can look back, even further, into the 40 year cyles that are upon us in 2007 and gain even more understanding that something BIG is being released upon us this year. If we go back 10 40-year cycles to 1607, we find that this was the year that the Colonists arrived on United State’s shores and promptly took a cross and planted it on American soil dedicating it to God from that coast to wherever (they didn’t know the expanse yet). This year, we celebrate the 400th anniversary of that taking place. Israel also served Egypt for 400 years before Moses led them out of bondage. So, we have a 400 year significant anniversary, a 40 year significant anniversary, and a “burning Bush” in office! These are ingredients for a “perfect storm”—one that breaks the power of bondage.

1927 was 40 years before 1967 and it too was a greatly historical year. That year, a Jerusalem based Jew named William Irvine wrote a letter that said “the whole Jewish world these days is praying day and night that this nation and kingdom may be restored and you should see their zeal and tears at the Wailing Wall outside the temple.” 40 years later they would see an answer to their prayers.

In March of 1927, Charles Lindberg made the famed Spirit of St. Louis flight and became the first to cross the Atlantic Ocean. Unfortunately, this led him to unprecedented fame and influence that he used in a very harmful way toward Jews. He was a Nazi sympathizer and a believer in the superior race notion of “eugenics.” His influence did much to keep America from intervening soon enough into stopping Hitler. Lindberg even pushed for us to sign a non-aggression pact with Germany. A case could be made that, apart from his huge influence at the time, we might have millions more Jews alive. You have to go back and read the “atmosphere” of the day to understand the impact he was having on national policy toward our involvement in the war.

The entire year of 1927 was also a year of unprecedented rains in our nation. It set the stage for the Great Mississippi Flood that was the greatest natural disaster in our history up until that time. It was like nothing we have ever seen. New Orleans received 15 inches of rain in 18 hours. The Mississippi River grew to 70 miles wide all the way up to Memphis, dispossessing at least 1,000,000 people and destroying billions of dollars of buildings, homes, and farms. The flood waters did not abate for 4 months and created a disastrous refugee crisis. It is called the “flood that changed the nation” because of the changes it brought. Blacks were not properly taken care of by a Republican administration and the resulting backlash from that mistreatment paved the way for FDR’s New Deal that would transform America’s social fabric. It also caused blacks to shift in mass numbers from Republican to Democrat politically. The negative repercussions of both these phenomena are still being felt even though part of the “shifts” that took place were good and necessary. It was one of those BIG SHIFTS of every forty years. That same year, there was a massive 8.6 earthquake that shook China and killed over 200,000 people. BIG things in China also seem to fall on this particular 40 year cycle.

If we go back another 40 years to 1887, I will mention a very significant event. In Jerusalem, the New Gate was built that provided better access to the Christian Quarters of the city! This became a powerful prophetic act that prophesied its future.

40 years before this, in 1847, Karl Marx burst on the scene and founded the Communist League (with Engels) and initiated another very bad SHIFT that would threaten to engulf the world. That same year, the Yellow River floods in China killed 900,000! It was also the worst year of the Irish Potato Famine that killed maybe a million people. It was called “Black ’47.” 1847 was also the time of the Mexican-American war.

As we can see, this “40 year cycle” we are in is very profound and very far-reaching. It will be a year like no other. Revival and disasters seem to run side by side. Great monumental spiritual advances are available. It is even further compounded by the fact that this could be the LAST 40 year cycle of its kind. We can not be found asleep or distracted. An incredible “crossing over” is before us. An Elijah Revolution that will prepare the way of the Lord is upon us. Cities and nations will be taken.

The Promised Land is all about taking cities and nations. None are taken in the “wilderness,” but that is all we do in the “Promised Land.” It is the exchange the Lord promises us. He will allow us to “flow with milk and honey,” but we must agree to take land. We have to be geared for a fight—even though the battle is the Lord’s. He only fights for those ON the battle field. This is the Gospel of the Kingdom versus only the Gospel of Salvation. The Gospel of the Kingdom is inclusive of the Gospel of Salvation, but goes much further beyond that. It is not “triumphalism,” it is fulfilling that which we were originally put in the Garden to do. We were destined to take dominion over everything while walking with God in openness and intimacy. It is the ultimate defeat of the Serpent and the final evidence that “love never fails.”

The “dominion” we take is over powers and principalities. The dominion message is not that Christians are preparing to control all other peoples in some official capacity. It is not an ill conceived, utopian “theocracy” in its human manifestation. In human circles, we will have “dominion” through influence and not by force. We will “rule” by love and servanthood. As we are “wise as serpents and harmless as doves,” we can bring the theocracy of Heaven down to earth—and, through INFLUENCE, the Kingdom of God can reign. No human being can be the “Theo” of theocracy, if you understand my point. So, it is misguided to talk about and scare the world with a utopian concept of creating in the natural something that is a “theocracy.” If we access enough of Heaven, a democracy can ALSO be a theocracy.

If sons and daughters of the Kingdom are properly positioned in high places, we can BY STEALTH have a theocracy. It is not meant to be done “over the top” and this is going to be something very important for us to comprehend. The people will rejoice when the righteous rule (as it says in Proverbs), especially if we do not scare them into believing that we will become some form of the “Holy Inquisition” from the past. A central aspect of our God is that He gives people freedom to choose or reject Him. “Law and order” must be legislated whether people like it or not because that is what allows a society to continue to exist. However, RELATIONSHIP with the Creator can only happen in a voluntary context and we must never forget that. This Elijah Revolution must learn from the mistakes of prior generations and not repeat them. “Theo” (God) is in fact coming to take over and we are ALL going to be doing some major shifting and adjusting. It is like Joshua 5:13-15 all over again. He is the Commander and He is not coming to defend anyone’s agenda but His own. Our role is to fall on our face and worship Him. Lord, let your Kingdom Come!!

HIGHLIGHTS OF 2007:

Israel, Israel, Israel!!!
This is a most incredible year as it relates to Israel. This June, it will be the 40th anniversary of Israel retaking Jerusalem (the 1967 Six Day War). This is very significant for both Israel and the Body of Christ at large. Our destinies and challenges coincide and, until we really understand that, we will remain somewhat disoriented from our own destiny and calling. This relates to our destiny individually, as a Church, as a city, and especially as a nation. Israel, and particularly Jerusalem, is the “anvil” from which the Lord will judge all nations. All nations will either fit into God’s clearly stated Biblical plan of restoration and redemption of Israel, or begin to reap grave consequences. “Sheep nations” and “Goat nations” (Mt.25:32) will be determined by their proper alignment with God’s plan for Israel. NO other nation’s final destiny has been “signed, sealed, and delivered.” Every nation that has a powerful enough “Elijah Revolution” can step into its redemptive destiny. EVERY nation has a redemptive destiny that is available. The nations are “up for grabs” which is why He challenges us to ask of Him for the nations as an inheritance (Psalms 2:8). He didn’t mention ANY nation that was off limits. Even just ONE electrified Elijah Revolutionary can be the spark to save a whole nation. Nations close to utter destruction can be saved and some, almost overnight, turned into a “Sheep” nation. Nations, seemingly in the right direction, can lose their light and become “Goat” nations if the children of God in that nation fall asleep. To say it again, Israel will be the Lord’s anvil around which He will shape a nation’s destiny. NO nation has a God-given destiny that does not strongly connect to God’s purposes in Israel.

It is our duty as the children of God to instruct the nations on this matter. Nine of our ten greatest natural disasters (as a nation) came at the precise moment we were doing harm to the nation of Israel by insisting on some level that they give up land. The most recent was the Katrina devastation that took place immediately after our political pressures (going back to Bush Sr. and Clinton administrations) forced Israel to give up the Gaza Strip in a so called “Land-for-Peace” initiative. As a result, the same percentage of Americans were forced from their homes as refugees were forcibly removed from their homes in Gaza. (In relation to this issue, I strongly recommend a newly released book by John McTernan called “As America Has Done to Israel” to get a more thorough picture of what I am briefly saying).

Every believer must eventually establish some compass point in their life from what is taking place in Israel or we will become spiritually disoriented and prone to erroneous direction. No true prophet will be able to accurately prophesy the destiny of nations apart from understanding the role of Israel and Jerusalem in these end times.

What does Israel’s 2007 look like?

Israel, as a nation, will finish her “40 years in the wilderness” this June and will enter into a “crossing over Jordan” dimension of her destiny. Antichrist forces are rising up against her as not seen since Hitler’s days, BUT the Lord will prepare a table for her in the presence of her enemies. The Lord will use the upcoming intense days of Israel to continue to woo her to Himself. She, at this point, is neither righteous nor is the right man in leadership of the nation. Yet, it has never been more evident that “her redemption is drawing nigh.” A dramatic change of the spiritual climate is presently taking place in Israel and the level of hunger for their Messiah, Yeshua, has never been so strong.

I believe that Benjamin Netanyahu needs to be in leadership of Israel before this year is over and Israel actually needs him in place before June of this year. “Coincidentally,” Benjamin Netanyahu first joined the Israeli army 40 years ago in 1967. He is “anointed” to war and to understand what Israel must do at this time. Iran also can not go on without being dealt with much longer. The antichrist spirit that is on its leader must be defused soon before it attempts to engorge itself more. This is a matter primarily for prayer, but the prayer is so that an actual outcome can take place. Russia is dangerously flirting with the antichrist spirit in Iran. China is also doing the same. These and, in fact, ALL nations are standing in the valley of Jehoshaphat related to which way they will go. Everything and anything is possible, but Russia is leaning in a very bad direction. May Russian intercessors rise up and bring change in their nation because Russia’s stronghold of “Nationalism” is setting it up to be open to antichrist forces.

What does the USA’s 2007 look like?

I will prophesy that an Elijah Revolution will begin this year in the USA and that it is a sure thing. I believe that “The Call” in Nashville on 7-7-07 is a very key piece of the puzzle in all that will explode upon the USA in this year. Prophetic words and decrees coming out of Charlotte are also a key piece of the puzzle. A proper spiritual aligning of Charlotte, Nashville, and Atlanta will expedite and intensify this Elijah revolution. “As Atlanta goes, so will the South go.” I believe that, as she steps into her destiny, she will flourish and, within ten years, become the prime city of America and maybe the nations. Several prophets have come into Atlanta and have prophesied that the “revolution” starts in Atlanta that will touch the whole nation. Julius Oyet from Uganda has prophesied that it will be an “Elijah Revolution.”

Why has Atlanta been “chosen” as the initiation point of an Elijah Revolution? Because this is where “Jezebel’s” headquarters are east of the Mississippi. Atlanta has more abortions daily than there are daily deaths in Iraq. Atlanta is the Meth capital of the East coast (a “sex” drug that works hand in hand with Jezebel). Atlanta also has the most strip clubs of any city in the Western Hemisphere! It is the national capitol for Welsh Paganism and also the National Headquarters for Tibetan spiritism. The largest mosque in the southeast is in Atlanta’s midtown. It has a huge Hindu temple under construction and has one of the largest homosexual communities in America. Sexual scandals among clergy have dominated recent times and only the tip of the iceberg has been exposed. To top it off, Atlanta is home to the lifestyle magazine entitled “JEZEBEL.” This spirit is not even hiding anymore.

But, when Satan comes in like a flood, the Lord will raise a standard so that Atlanta will see an Elijah Revolution. Prophets and intercessors will be increasingly sent to this city to make it an Elijah hotbed. As they properly connect and integrate, it will touch all levels of society. The primary “gatekeeper” of Georgia has just done us a huge service and opened wide the gates of this state to the Lord. On January 8, as Governor Sonny Perdue was sworn in to his second term, he read Joshua 24:15, “…but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” This becomes a prophetic declaration over the state that we can latch on to and join in decreeing.

What Judgments or Trials are on the Horizon for the USA?

I believe many, many shakings are in store for our nation. Most can be good shakings if we respond correctly as a nation to Israel. If we EVER pressure Israel to give up Jerusalem, we will immediately leave Washington DC exposed to severe attack. ANY political pressure this year on Israel to continue “Land-for-Peace” quests will greatly endanger our national security. Cities with a significant “sin” problem will be the most endangered. Cities and states that voted “Blue” in the last election become first on the vulnerability scale. The three most important issues this year are first Israel, second abortion, and third homosexuality. All other issues, though important, are significantly lower on the “totem pole.” It is crucial that we get this. Virtually all of our significant natural disasters—accounting for billions of dollars—have a direct tie to these three issues. Things like “feeding the poor” are important, but we will not be able to handle “the poor” because they will exponentially increase if we continue to receive judgments because of misguided national policies on these three issues.

Morality, not only CAN be legislated, it MUST be legislated. That is the basic premise behind “law and order.” We already “legislate” that you can not murder, steal, use illegal drugs, smoke in many public places, skip your taxes, write bad checks, or even slander someone. The law is there to legislate morality. When you cease to legislate morality, you, by default, legislate immorality. Legislated immorality opens a nation up to judgment. The only reason we haven’t suffered much greater casualties from our legislated sins is because of the ministers of reconciliation (intercessors) in our nation that have continued to do their job. The only reason we haven’t had 30,000 (instead of 3000) deaths in Iraq is because of answered prayer. The only reason half of California is not in the sea is because of answered prayer. I saw a vision of an angel holding California in, at a southern fault line, near San Diego and, if he lets go, a major piece of California will fall into the sea.

We have angels that have saved us from perhaps millions of deaths since 9/11 and we are facing perhaps millions more deaths THIS YEAR if we do not have the assistance of angels. National protection angels are very numerous and active right now all across our nation, but some will get “called off” their protection posts if we make a mis-step with Israel this year. Conversely, some of the most sophisticated and deadly attacks conspired against us will be exposed and stopped if we respond correctly to these issues—but especially Israel. This should greatly stimulate our prayer life.

The number 40 is the number of a cycle having been fulfilled. Israel wandered in the desert for 40 years and then they entered their Promised Land. Saul was King of Israel for 40 years and then David followed with a 40 year reign. Solomon then followed with a 40 year reign of his own. There are 40 year anniversaries that allow us to break old “bad leases” and start something new. If we “sleep” spiritually, we get a worse “lease” upon us. We are in the 40 year cycle of radical shifts.

This year is the 40 year anniversary of Jerusalem finally and miraculously being restored back to Israel. From June 5-10, 1967, Israel fought what is called the Six Day War, not only winning another “against the odds” battle versus several much larger nations, but also managing to take significant additional territory, including Jerusalem. It was possibly the most significant world event of the last century. It confirmed Biblical prophecy that seemed all but impossible to be fulfilled. It confirmed the prophetic track we are now on and the magnitude of this event can not be overestimated. I believe it also communicates greatly for the Jewish people that some new very significant season is upon them. I believe it will be something akin to Israel leaving the wilderness and entering her Promised Land.

The last 40 years of Israel have been years of self-rule, yet not years of Promised Land. There is a significant parallel to Israel’s days during Moses and Joshua that has taken place and is yet to take place. As we, the Church and Israel, function more and more in a “one new man” identity, this new season speaks volumes for us also. Just as natural Israel will enter some “crossing Jordan” dynamic, we too, as the Church, are entering this “crossing Jordan” kairos moment. It is the “Great Shift” that many are prophesying about, and when it happens, we will never be the same again. After that time, even the failures that may arise are failures IN the Promised Land and there is no returning to wilderness days.

  2007: The Year the Elijah Revolution Begins Part 1

2007 marks the beginning of a Revolution that will shake everything that can be shaken. This Elijah Revolution will first shake the church to its core and bring about a long anticipated “Extreme Church Makeover.” To those in tune with the initiatives of heaven, it will be a most exhilarating season of transformation. For the “hirelings” in God’s House, it will be a season of shock and humiliation as EVERY personal kingdom will begin to be dismantled and crushed. We will see Baal and Jezebel ruthlessly dealt with as this Elijah Revolution sweeps this land. This will be a Counter-cultural revolution that will be carried in the hearts of the youth, but will be embraced and overseen by the seasoned “Joshuas” and “Calebs.” The Elijah Revolution will bring an Extreme Church Makeover but will go far beyond that by reaching every socio-political and socio-economic level of society. It will come in the midst of great upheaval and consternation and, in fact, it will often BE the cause of the great upheaval and consternation.

DEFINING REVOLUTION:
Revolution: 1. “a drastic and far-reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving.”
2. “the overthrow of one government or system and its replacement with another.”
3. “a sudden or momentous change in a situation.”

ANTONYM of revolution: Stagnation; Status Quo.

The word Revolution has been a popular prophetic word over the last couple of years. There is an understanding that some radical shift and change is upon us. Drastic change must come to the way that we, “God’s people,” think and behave. Our present church “government” is in need of replacement and we are all anticipating a sudden and momentous shift. The alternative is stagnation and status quo leading to even greater irrelevance.

However, this word "revolution" must carry an accompanying definition of just what kind of revolution it is. Apart from a well understood definition of the nature of this revolution, it can just become an extension of the lawlessness that is extending across the face of the earth. Revolution, when mentioned alone, only describes the removal and overthrow of what is presently in power. This is typical and traditional “guerilla-speak” where the goal is only the overthrow of what is not working well. The revolution that will manifest this year is an "Elijah Revolution." It has been spoken that it will begin in Atlanta, Georgia and I’ll address “Why, Atlanta?” later on.

AN ELIJAH REVOLUTION:

This revolution will be much better understood as one reads the life and times of Elijah and what his role and call was. Malachi 4 also tells us that Elijah must come first before the great day of the Lord and that Elijah would restore the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children’s hearts to the fathers. This, of course, may end up having a very literal manifestation in time as Elijah could return as one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3 (along with either Enoch or Moses). But, for our purposes, we will talk about that which comes in the “spirit of Elijah” for such a time as this. It is the “Kairos” moment for an Elijah Revolution that will be an explosion of Heaven on Earth. Here are the characteristics of Elijah that will manifest in this Revolution.

1) He was a prophet.
2) He was an intercessor.
3) He confronted Jezebel.
4) He decimated Baal and the false prophets.
5) He lived in the supernatural.
6) He challenged Israel to serve ONLY God.
7) He anointed Elisha and Jehu.

1) He was a Prophet:
2007 could also be called the “year of the prophets” as this will clearly be a facet of the Elijah Revolution. There has been a two year humbling and refining of this ministry and, this year, it will begin to become evident who are carrying portions of Elijah’s mantle. We are ALL called to prophesy and should begin to step into it more and release heaven on earth. However, this year, there will be a validation of those whom the Lord is raising up as Prophetic Fathers—-some will be known and some will be those previously unknown, but raised up for such a time as this. Promotion will come from the Lord. Part of the mark of these new Elijah “Revolutionaries” that will arise will be intimacy-based revelation. There will be an abundance of new revelation this year as Heaven continues to press in and penetrate the realms of earth.

2) He was an Intercessor:
2007 could also be properly prophesied as the “year of the intercessors.” Unprecedented authority is now upon the intercessors to release the will of God on earth. Elijah was responsible for praying in the “cloud the size of a man’s hand” in 1 Kings 18:44. As this passage tells us, it was after “seven times” that this came about which ties in to the year 2007. This “cloud” was the first sign of a “sound of the abundance of rain.” The fact that it is the size of a “man’s hand” relates to the intercessors praying in the full manifestation of the “five-fold ministry” upon the earth. This is the year that intercessors will begin to rule the heavens and this is the year that EVERYONE will receive the call to BE an intercessor. As an aside, you can not be any one of the five-fold ministry if you are not FIRST an intercessor.

3)He Confronted Jezebel:
Jezebel means “Baal is husband.” As this Elijah Revolution sweeps through the church and society, it will expose and displace Jezebel. Jezebel is that which hates the prophets and is associated with both the religious spirit and with a spirit of seduction. It can be either “religious” or a seductive lustful thing or a mix of the two. Passion for God and true holiness are the antidote for Jezebel and will be a mark of the Elijah Revolutionaries. True holiness manifests out of real intimacy and relationship with the Holy Spirit and we simply manifest His attributes. It is not a focus on the “DON’TS” but rather a focus on the “DO’S”. True Holiness is when we run out of time to sin because our time is consumed on Him and His Kingdom.

4) He Decimated Baal and the False Prophets
Baal is the ruling system that empowers Jezebel. It is the spirit behind abortion, perversion, and homosexuality. Dutch Sheets has been given much recent revelation on this spirit and I encourage you to get ahold of that message. I addressed this influence in our nation when I spoke of the Hurricanes a couple of years ago (See “Hurricanes That Prophesy” at this link http://www.theissacharianpost.com/2004.htm#Biloxi ). Before Katrina showed up, I shared that we had a giant altar of Baal between Mobile and New Orleans that God would be dealing with. Mardis Gras descends from Baal worship. There is a rebuilding of Baal’s altars being attempted in New Orleans and, if it is successful, New Orleans has yet to face her real judgment day.

5) He Lived in the Supernatural
The coming Elijah Revolutionaries will operate in unprecedented power. There are spiritual “anointings” and “mantles” that have been reserved for such a time as this. There are weapons and angels that have been reserved for the battle at hand and this year we will hear testimonies like we have never heard before. The healing angels of the 40’s and 50’s are being sent among us and healing will be “the bread for the children.” The last five years have produced a dramatic increase in healings in our land, but this year begins an exponential shift to a whole different level.

6) He Challenged Israel to Serve ONLY God (1 Kings 18:21)
There is an explosion of God upon our youth that is going to shake every luke-warm bone in our body. Many of us are not aware that we are luke-warm because we haven’t seen what HOT looks like. There is an uncompromising spirit of God being released upon our youth and kids that will target many “pet” idols that we presently think are acceptable to God. We have been trying to marry “the American Dream” with our brand of Christianity and they do not mix. This year, we will begin to see how much we have bought into the American Dream and we will awaken from the slumber it has put upon our spirits.

7) He Anointed Elisha (Prophet) and Jehu (Apostle): (1 Kings 19)
Elisha and Jehu speak of the Prophet ministry and the Apostle ministry that will be fully in place as a result of the Elijah Revolution. Elisha was the “double portion” man and Jehu was the King who ultimately obliterated Jezebel. There are certain high-place displacements of Jezebel that will only take place as the legitimate apostles and prophets are positioned – not just in the church- but in all places of society. Most will not go by the title of “Apostle,” but will be “wise as serpents” in a stealth capacity. Announcing one’s own “high rank” invariably leads to becoming a greater target and less able to efficiently perform one’s assignment. This will be a big transition in the Body of Christ because at least 90% of those presently calling themselves “Apostles” are, in fact, not apostles. Most are not even “emerging apostles” which has become another catch phrase recently.

Humility and faith will be the primary marks of these true apostles that will be surfacing and they will all be prophetic AND intercessors as well. An “apostle” who is not prophetic will have no ability to discern who is a true prophet. An “apostle” who doesn’t prioritize intercession will have an inflated valuation of his own “strategies.” God’s end-time House will be a House of Prayer and His apostles and prophets will lead the way. This is why we are about to see an explosion of women apostles and prophets because they are willing to pray and cry out to God.

There is a present false apostolic movement that believes that they are about to access the promised “wealth of the heathen.” However, they are not apostles and they are leaning on strategies of the flesh. Therefore, they will, in fact, fail for that reason. There are many good and well meaning leaders as a part of this, but the presumption that is being moved in is so strong that a certain financial humiliation is to follow. This already happened in measure two years ago, but many of us are slow learners. The Elijah Revolution will surface true apostles and prophets and the present pseudo-apostles and pseudo-prophets will be the biggest obstacles to their proper positioning. Nevertheless, it WILL happen.
