A Word for Colombia, South America

Introduction
This is a word that I originally gave August 30, 2000 in San Jose, Costa Rica. I was speaking at an international conference that had about 75 Colombian pastors and leaders that represented over 2,000 churches in Colombia. When the Lord had instructed me to write out the prophecy, He had actually only given me the title. As I began to write the title the Lord began to give me the rest of the prophecy. When I began to read this word to the pastors attending the conference some amazing things began to happen. I wasn’t 3 sentences into the prophecy when great wailing and intercession hit the entire Colombian delegation. Many of them fell to the floor, gripped by the Lord. By the end of the prophecy the entire meeting was taken over by weeping and intercession for Colombia. Intercession went on at least an hour as tears and prayers were passionately released before the Lord and ended with a spontaneous rendition of Colombia’s national anthem, which contains some great promises of destiny for that nation. No one who was in that meeting could have any doubt that this was a word from God. The impartation many received from the Holy Spirit far outweighed the actual words. I say all that because as you read this prophecy you will see that it was given 2 and a half years ago and there is yet no obvious sign of its’ ultimate fulfillment. I know a fair amount about the devastating circumstances taking place in Colombia. The true picture of life throughout Colombia remains virtually unreported because Colombia is too dangerous for reporters. My heart aches for this nation and I pray that the Lord would stir more hearts out there to join in intercession for our Colombian brothers and sisters.

The Prophecy of August 30, 2000 "Oh Colombia, Oh Colombia" Oh Colombia, Oh Colombia, For so many years I warned you and I warned you…but you did not heed me. You went on your own path and you paid homage time after time to the work of Satan. Your ‘cup of iniquity’ filled before My Presence…You mocked Me and I had to remove My Hand from you. What you are suffering, Oh Colombia, is not the work of My Hand but rather the lack of My Hand that you suffer these days of desperation…There is a harvest of evil that you have been harvesting because I have been awaiting THE CRY OF MY PEOPLE in Colombia…For a long time when there should have been a cry there was not a cry…Instead there were disputes, divisions and fighting between MY sons and daughters…Instead, a spirit of ambition dominated My people…I have been dealing with that spirit of ambition during these hard years…That spirit that seeks only its’ own advancement…only the advancement of its’ own church…only the advancement of its’ own denomination…I have been judging that and I am eradicating it.

Your Cry Has Come Up To Me
And now I tell you My people, that your cry has come up to me…Now I have a people broken and humble that is crying out to me day and night asking for mercy…The contrite heart I have never been able to deny…So now PREPARE YOURSELF for the day in that I WILL ACT…For I will ACT in a mighty way in this country that I love so much…My Hand of Intervention is about to show up in a might way over my beaten and downtrodden people…I am He who measures the waters in the hollow of My Hand…I am He who is seated above the circle of the earth…I am He who extends the heavens as a curtain…Yea all the nations are to Me as a drop in the bucket…Surely My Hand of Intervention is not, nor will it be, a light thing. I am He who converts the mighty into nothing…and there is no one who can detain My Hand…TODAY I announce to you that My Hand of Intervention will come to Colombia…the cries, the tears, the groans, the intercessions have come up to me. The broken hearts of My people have moved Me. Now I say to you – Lift up your eyes and look to me. I come from the mountains and I am your Rescuer….There is no other who can rescue you but only ME. Therefore LOOK TO ME with your face set like a flint and with a hopeful spirit…For I know the thoughts I have towards you, says the Lord…thoughts of peace and not of evil. I have good plans for you Colombia and I still have a good destiny for you…One day Colombia will no longer be known by the terrible events that occur there. I will come to Colombia like a Consuming Fire and I will change the face of that nation…Whereas you have exported drugs to the whole world, now there shall be a special fire that you will ‘export’ to the nations…

From the North…
From the north will begin a fire of my intervention…from the coast shall begin another fire and then from the south shall come another flame of fire. My intervention will not be something light nor easy…My intervention will come as an explosion in the spiritual realm. Where violence has reigned my fire will bring peace…I will raise My army in Colombia and My army will be an army of Peace…LOOK TO ME AND SEEK ME…LOOK TO ME AND SEEK ME – My Hand has NOT been shortened- and there is none who can resist My intervention. My eyes are alert and My ears have heard everything…I will lift up my faithful servants in Colombia…I have my army of young people that are arising with the Fire of My Presence…There are already revival fires in many places of this nation that most don’t know about…Now I will begin to connect the fires and I will bring transformation to the peoples, towns, cities and even to the nation as a whole, if you will allow Me…You will go to the nations as fiery arrows and you will be useful to me in this great world harvest…Colombia will bring Light to the world and it will be by MY Hand of intervention that I am releasing even now…My Fire is My Presence, My Fire is My Love, My Fire is My Compassion. My Fire brings Healing. My Fire brings Peace. My Fire brings Joy. My Fire revives that which was dead – I AM A CONSUMING FIRE. I AM A CONSUMING FIRE.
